Tonight we played at Reed Street Station, this hip little joint down in the Walker's Point neighborhood. Before the show Matt, Steve and I went to one of the excellent Mexican restaurants the area is known for. We had great food and drank some tasty strawberry margaritas. I believe I wasn't the only one who tasted too much.

We got back to the club just before Chicago's Dovetail Joint was to go on. One of their amps had blown out during soundcheck, so we hooked them up with one of ours and they proceeded to rock.

We got onstage about 12:00 and had a beautiful section of friends and fans right up front, where it always sounds best. I enjoyed getting off the stage and dancing with them during some of the jams. Maybe next time I'll invite them on stage... maybe I better think that over. Bye bye.
