Picture it, mid-afternoon, Summerfest grounds, the Miller stage and one of the best original Milwaukee based bands. That's right UGC rocked the Summerfest grounds on July 3 from 3-6pm and the crowd was into each and every song. If you weren’t there you missed an awesome show; I forgive you though. I have to admit that being the only Summerfest virgin in the group, I was pretty nervous; but all caution was thrown to the wind when the boyz started to play and I had a cold Miller Light. The energy on stage and in the crowd was amazing. Once I stepped foot on the Miller Stage I felt as though I had something to prove to myself and to the crowd who stuck around to see us. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people stay put at one stage in the middle of the afternoon. Those who did stay had a great show and we definitely enjoyed the company.

After performing, going out into the crowd was the best part. People really enjoyed us. And I have to admit I was a little star struck and I had the overwhelming urge to yell "I’m with the band." Anyway, the crowd was the best ever and they bought every CD we had there. For those of you who didn’t get a CD visit CD Baby.

I believe Upside GC proved that day to be at the top of their game and truly one of the rockinest bands in Milwaukee. Thanks, thanks, and thank you again guys for letting me, be part of your " BIG GIG."
