This was an exciting gig for all of us. We were showcasing much of our new original material; which we had arranged and rehearsed as the leaves dropped from the trees in the weeks prior.

On the stagebill that night UGC played between the opening act Repertoir and the Greyhounds. The crowd grew not only in size, but in responsiveness as the night continued. Jack Daniel's might have had something to do with it, but I doubt it.

It was refreshing for me to interact with my bandmates onstage, after spending about a month in rehearsals. A live performance is where the music takes the form of true art. It is also where I personally feel most comfortable performing.

I'm excited for our next gig at the Rave (12.07.01), hope to see you there.
